SUAD: Back To The Old School

Jan 22

SUAD
Thursday January 22nd
Revolution, 9pm-2am

What’s happened to the charts nowadays? Alexandra Burke… Nelly Furtado… Lil Wayne… who are these people? What happened to glittering novelty pop; to infectious hooks and inappropriately saucy lyrics aimed at kids? It’s not like it used to be. We remember the days of real music: Scanty Sandwich… The Wamdue Project… The Outhere Brothers… proper bands!

Well, for one night only SUAD are resurrecting the very best in pop classics from the salad days of our youth. It’s back to the old school for some of the best music you thought you’d forgotten. On the decks (and rifling through his old Now That’s What I Call Music CDs) will be DJ Olly Riley-Smith, mixing up old school classics with the usual SUAD dance floor breakers.

As always the drinks will be very cheap, including £1 flavoured vodka shots all night.

SUAD wristbands are £3 advance. These are on sale from all SUAD reps. There are SUAD reps in almost every college:

Catz - Rob Mindell
Clare - Zainie Jamali
Downing - Laurie Biot and James Winward
Emma - James Slack and James Pattinson
