Tuesday June 10th -
SUAD presents… Wiley LIVE
at the Soul Tree, 9-3
Yes that’s right, none other than Wiley himself - founding father of the Grime movement, original Eskimo Boy and UK chart smash hit wonder with the universally huge “Wearing My Rolex” - is playing SUAD to kick off the hot summer.
A key member of the Roll Deep Entourage, and latterly of the Boy Better Know crew, his debut album Treddin’ On Thin Ice brought his unique “Eski beat” style to the world’s attention. His production has kickstarted the careers of Tinchy Stryder, JME, Skepta and, most notably, Dizzee Rascal. New album Grime Wave and UK chart No. 2 single “Wearing My Rolex” have given him the wider audience he deserves.
He’ll be supported by the Man Make Music crew in the form of SAM LEON and ANOTHER AMIT playing a mixture of Electro, Bassline, Breaks, Dubstep and Grime. These two Cambridge graduates have carved a niche for themselves at London’s now legendary Man Make Music heavy bass parties. This set is gonna get things seriously fired up.
As if all this wasn’t enough we’ll be throwing on some great drinks deals as well until 11pm:
£1 Selected Shots
£2 Selected Bottles
£2.50 Selected Spirit & Mixer
This is truly a big one for SUAD, and we expect this to sell out pretty sharpish. Make sure you get your tickets nice and early. We’ll be releasing 400 advance tickets with another 150 available on the night.
Tickets are £6 student advance, £8 others. Or £8 students and £10 others on the night. You’ll be able to get them from Ta Bouche (the bar next to Fez on Market Passage) on Tues 27th May between 12pm and 2pm.
There’ll also be a few made available through selected SUAD reps. Check back later for names.
If you are a student you MUST present university ID both when you buy your ticket and when you arrive at the venue.
